Mother's Day Celebrations

Childcare Mother's Day

We had an absolute ball celebrating the special women and people in our lives at our annual Mother's Day celebrations.

We love putting on these events because it is always so wonderful having the chance to chat with our families and get to know them better, without the rush of drop off or pick up. It is also so lovely seeing the children's faces light up when their special guests arrive, and the joy they have showing their families around and introducing them to their friends.

We watched African Drumming, decorated cupcakes, practiced painting nails, enjoyed lots of fun art activities, and stuffed ourselves with an array of delicious treats and snacks (I'm sure everyone left very full!).

And we even had a visit from Federal MP, Dr. Carina Garland, at Wheelers Hill.

We pride ourselves on hosting events and celebrations that provide families with opportunities to visit our centres and get involved. When developing our calendars for a new year, we ensure we have a range of events that are important to our families, such as cultural holidays, charitable observances, and community activities.

We also aim to include special days and incursions that are fun and educational which shake up the usual daily routine. Incursions are organised for particular age groups, such as Responsible Pet Ownership for kindergarten-aged children, and dancing classes for the younger, childcare age groups.

Feedback on our events and suggestions for future calendars is always welcomed. New calendars come out in term 4 each year.
