We are very proud to announce that Kids on Mullum Child Care Centre have recently gone through the Assessment and Rating process and have officially been rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard!!! 

A rating of Exceeding the National Quality Standard (NQS) means that the service is performing above and beyond what is expected at the Meeting National Quality Standard level for that Standard.

To achieve a rating of Exceeding NQS for any Standard, the three Exceeding themes need to be demonstrated in service practice for that Standard:

1. Practice is embedded in service operations
2. Practice is informed by critical reflection
3. Practice is shaped by meaningful engagement with families and/or the community

Since opening in October 2017, the Kids on Mullum team have worked so hard making the centre a wonderful place to learn, play and work. They are passionate about community, sustainability, and embedding cultural and indigenous perspectives into their curriculum, including the Aboriginal 8 Ways of Learning. 

Led by our incredibly passionate director, Tracey Hayes, and her dedicated leadership team, Kids on Mullum Child Care Centre has flourished over the past 6 years and continues to excel in all that they do. Every member of the team is committed, enthusiastic and passionate about providing educational programs that are of the highest quality. All of their childcare and kindergarten programs reflect the pedagogical values of the centre.
