We Love ECE Day!

Another wonderful Early Childhood Educators Day has come and gone, and boy, did we celebrate big this year!

Early Childhood Educators Day is a day of celebration that acknowledges the important role early childhood educators play in educating and caring for the next generation of Australians. It’s a chance to say a huge thank you to Australia’s early childhood educators on a very personal level by service operators, families and their children, as well as collectively at the national and state levels.

Starting in Queensland in 2011, Early Childhood Educators Day has come so far over the past 13 years, with the childcare, kindergarten and early childhood education and care sector turning it into a nationwide event. And it is one of our favourite days on the centre calendar!

We were spoiled with yummy platters and snacks, played some fun games, and were blown away by the beautiful words and tokens of encouragement and support by our families and colleagues. We are truly blessed to work with children every day, but careers in childcare and kindergarten can be tough, and sometimes taxing on our physical and mental health. This special day reminds us that we are valued and recognised for our contribution to children's education, and that the hard work is all worth it.

To all of the wonderful Trident Early Learning educators - past, present and future - thank you for your amazing commitment to providing high quality early childhood education and care each and every day. We are so grateful for your hard work, passion, love, enthusiasm and commitment.
